McAfee antivirus is a leading security program. The program integrates excellently engineered antivirus engine coupled with anti-malware, anti-spam, and anti-phishing techniques that give your computer comprehensive protection against viruses, spyware, Trojans, other malware, spam, and phishing among other online threats. However, the program often creates errors, also known as McAfee antivirus errors, because of multiple reasons.

These errors can result in security hassles or other problems if not fixed immediately. So, here we have brought you a free McAfee antivirus support guide that will help easily you fix these errors. Make sure that you follow the below mentioned instructions properly to avoid facing McAfee antivirus problems.

Before you begin, make sure that you have the McAfee antivirus setup (installation) disk. If you don't have it, don't worry. You can also use Command Prompt or Windows Explorer to extract the McAfee setup file.

If everything was going well previously and the problem started just some time back, shut down your computer and then restart it. This is the simplest yet most effective method for temporary errors and glitches like these. So, ideally your McAfee antivirus should work after rebooting the computer.

If the problem persists, open McAfee antivirus and click the Update button. Let the program download and install latest virus, malware definitions, performance patches, and updates. These will not only fix any software flaws but also improve your PC's performance and protection against online threats.

Clean Windows registry of damaged, empty registry keys. Since it can be done manually as it requires thorough understanding of Windows registry. A wrongly modified registry can lead to full or part system crash. So, to prevent this from happening, download a free registry cleaner tool from a trustworthy website and save it to your computer. Open the saved file, follow the on-screen instructions, and install the tool. When done, open the tool, create a restore point, and run a scan for the registry errors. When done, check the errors and prompt the tool to fix them.

If you still face problems with your McAfee program, grab the McAfee antivirus setup disk and insert it in the drive of your computer. The auto-run McAfee VirusScan Setup dialog box will appear. Hit Next to continue. It will take you to the Program Maintenance screen. Click to select the Repair button and then hit Next to continue.

When in the Reinstall or Repair the Product window, choose to repair the McAfee antivirus files. The feature will diagnose the issue and repair the corrupt files. It will also detect and install missing files to make sure that the program works well next time it runs. When finished, you can also run other features like rewriting registry entries or reinstalling McAfee VirusScan etc.

When done, it will display a message McAfee VirusScan Setup has completed successfully. You can now either choose to update your McAfee antivirus scan or run a full or custom virus scan. You can also choose to run both the tasks simultaneously. In case you do, the update task will run first and then the scan task.

Finish all the tasks, Exit all the windows and eject the McAfee antivirus setup disk. Reboot your computer. When done, open your McAfee antivirus program. Check whether it is working fine or not. If you still face errors while running the program, look for a McAfee technical support or McAfee product support service.

For Lightning-Fast Speed, What You Need is Comcast Internet

By Christopher Luck

Just 10 years ago, the Internet was a novelty, a rarity and a luxury that most Americans were aware of but did not participate in. Now, 75 percent of Americans have Internet access at home, and many of them are using Comcast Internet.

With so many choices out there, how do you find what kind of Internet service is right for you? Simple: Choose the fastest, most reliable and most affordable. And that's Comcast Internet.

Until a few years ago, the standard for Internet access was dialup. Today, that method of connecting to the Internet is no longer favored, as many Internet customers have high-speed access, either cable or DSL. Nearly all businesses and offices with Internet access use broadband of some kind. And Comcast cable Internet is leading the way.

Comcast cable Internet offers broadband service that is faster than most DSL services -- about 6 Mbps ("6 Megs") of download speed -- so fast you'll barely notice anything is happening. (Most DSL s…

New Bill Supports Libertarian Beliefs About Patient Rights

Media representing the Libertarian Party beliefs, and explaining libertarian philosophy on the subject. The application of libertarian beliefs expressed by the party or others may or may not universally represent libertarian views on the topic for all adherents.
The Senate unanimously approved a bill Thursday that would allow people facing life-threatening diseases access to unapproved experimental drugs, providing a victory for libertarian advocates who see government regulators thwarting patients’ rights.
The bill, S. 204 (115), passed swiftly and easily in a Senate bitterly divided over health care. The powerful pharmaceutical lobby, which had quietly opposed an earlier version, kept an unusually low profile. The industry has been focused on fighting off any efforts to go after drug pricing, which President Donald Trump has said he would tackle.
The bill’s chief champion, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), declared it a victory for individual liberty over government, and for “the right t…
